"A Writer's Journey" grades 2nd-8th
Daryl's Author Visits program "A Writer's Journey" is an amazing mix of music, storytelling and graphics all weaved together to teach children about the creative writing process. Daryl combines music and graphics to teach kids how to collect detail. He uses storytelling and graphics to teach them about using small moments and creating conflict. Daryl will take the kids on a journey that is so much fun, that the kids won't realize until it's over, that the whole assembly was one giant writing class.
"A Music & Storytime" Grades K-2
This is a 40-45-minute-long Music and Storytime presentation that will have the children singing, clapping and having the best time ever. During this program Daryl will pull out his guitar and get the students singing. He will keep them engaged with his books and his storytelling skills.
